In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Algeria showcased varied trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 23K in early April and decreasing to around 10.6K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also showed a similar downward trend, beginning the quarter with over 552K users and ending with about 494K.

RedotPay: Crypto Card & Pay experienced a peak in downloads mid-April with approximately 22.7K downloads, followed by a decline and subsequent recovery to around 12.1K by late June. Active users increased steadily from 218K to nearly 250K throughout the quarter.

For MEXC: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto, weekly downloads began modestly but showed growth, reaching a high of about 7.2K in early June. Active users climbed from 7.4K to over 10.1K by the quarter's end.

Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a consistent download rate, with a notable increase to 5.1K in late June. The app's active user base fluctuated, starting with 51K and rising to approximately 58.4K.

Sweat Wallet: Crypto & Rewards had a decline in weekly downloads from 2K to just over 1K. Its active user count decreased from 45.3K to 28.4K by the end of the quarter.
